Cece came to Christ at seventeen years old. Her mother would buy her Christian music albums, and the Lord used them to plant seeds of hope in her hopeless heart. Since coming to Christ, she has served faithfully in children’s ministry, junior high, high school, and young adult/college ministries as a counselor and teacher. She has also coordinated a number of Christmas and Easter programs.
Her musical journey began once she married Luis. He began teaching her to play percussion and guitar. While she enjoys these instruments she always loved singing, but never believed that she had the ability. In July 2023, the Lord ministered to her heart through 1 Chronicles 25. This is where David separated his men for service. In verse 6 it says “all these were under the direction of their father for the music in the house of the Lord, with cymbals, stringed instruments, and harps, for the service of the house of God.” It was a light bulb moment, and the Lord cleary spoke to Cece’s heart and said, “This is your family.” From that moment on Cece has pursued Vocal instruction, and the Lord has given her many opportunities to lead worship for churches and bible studies. Her passion is to encourage young people to grow in their passions and to use them to build Gods kingdom.
